Ending a yearlong hiatus

Well hello there! Can you believe it’s been a whole year since I posted something? 🙂 I definitely can!

Looking back, I’m not sure I’ve ever had a more transitional year than 2017. As some of you know,  last January I turned 40 and life decided there was no time like the present to shake things up a little. Except, instead of just a little, it shook things up a lot!

After 13 years of living together (including one year in Volcano), Vea moved out. And in the same month, I changed jobs. All of these shifts resulted in changes in my schedule, my routine, my responsibilities, and dare I say it – my sense of self.

While it was challenging, I can honestly say that getting out of my old box and growing my comfort zone was DEFINITELY a healthy move. I feel healthier mentally, spiritually, financially, and physically.

And its from that healthier place that I intend to show up wherever I go.. to work, at play, and here in my little home on the web. Please stay tuned for whatever comes next, in the next few days, weeks, months… whenever inspiration strikes. And if you’re reading this now, thank you! See you soon.
